In the heart of nature also means in the heart of adventure: wild water rafting, biking, abseiling in canyons, hiking in the natural park and going up to the mountain pasture with a pushchair in the cable car. We’ll happily give you some tips for unique adventures.

Paragliding

Paragliding means sport, adventure and natural experiences. One of the nicest ways to discover the beautiful landscape of the Ziller Valley and Tuxertal Valley. Well-secured in tandem, you’ll sense that the air over the wood is warmer, smell the mountain pastures and maybe even trust yourself to give it a go with the guide. The landing is soft and gentle.

Canyoning

Climb between the rocks and abseil down waterfalls, jump into crystal-clear or dark green pools – so-called “Gumpen”, and enjoy wonderful views. Canyoning is simply an overwhelming experience. An experienced guide will take you through the gorges. With a neoprene suit and helmet, you’ll be up close to nature here.

Rafting

Riding down the wild Zill on a raft is an impressive and thrilling natural experience. Trained guides ensure that the adventure is safe. The thick neoprene suit, a life jacket and helmet provide comprehensive protection.

You must also take time to swim in the wild water.

Cave trekking

Being a cave researcher for a few hours, complete with jacket and helmet, is really cool!

Take part on a guided tour of the easily accessible cave or go cave trekking. As well as your cave clothing you’ll also be given a carbite lamp, as you’ll go deep down into the impressive natural stone cave.

Get on your bike

Mountainbiking

Jump on your bike and discover the best tours of all difficulty levels. You can hire a bike from one of the bike shops. The cable cars are ready to give you a bit of help on the way up.
We’ve found a particularly attractive downhill route for teens: warm up on a flat route at an altitude of 2,000 m and then go past a mountain lake and back to the Testerhof.
You can also explore the Ziller Valley by bike. A wonderful cycle trail leads you through the whole Ziller Valley. You can go back down with the Ziller Valley railway, where there is also a steam train.
